The American College of Radiation Oncology is proud to announce the leadership for CURiE: Contemporary Updates: Radiotherapy Innovation & Evidence, a cutting-edge publication through the Cureus Journal of Medical Science. CURiE will serve as a dynamic platform for the latest advancements in the field of radiation oncology, providing a comprehensive exploration of innovative radiotherapy techniques, emerging technologies, and evidence-based practices.
Jessica Schuster, MD, FACRO will serve as CURiE Editor-in-Chief.
“From the time of ACRO origins, the organization has been focused on supporting and promoting radiation oncologists. I am so excited to be helping ACRO with CURiE with a mission to share practical and timely research and articles that can be used in clinical practice right away,” said Schuster.
Christopher D. Jahraus, MD, FACRO will serve as CURiE Deputy Editor.
“The opportunity to help lead CURiE is beyond exciting. Together with those who have put years of effort into this development, we are committed to making CURiE the most pertinent source of timely information for practicing radiation oncologists,” said Jahraus. “It won’t be a journal of esoteric findings, relevant to only a few. CURiE will directly impact patient care with every turn of the page. Combining this with a supportive editorial approach, CURiE will bring value to seasoned and new authors alike, and will become a trusted resource to every reader.”
ACRO received many qualified applicants for CURiE leadership during the application period in 2023. The search committee wants to thank everyone who expressed interest in the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor roles.
